A few years back my hair was disastrous. I never used a hair dryer, straightener, curling iron and only washed my hair 3 times a week at the most, so why was my hair dry and brittle, literally falling apart? My hair got better, my skin got softer, my tub needed less scrubbing...it was a miracle. Oh, and my shower head stopped getting nasty mineral build up on it. Best $30 bucks spend on my apartment ever!

Overall:
It is a cheap way to  soften water in places that cannot get soft water treatments installed or where money is tight. I love it and would recommend getting it and trying it before shelling out the big bucks for the sephora models.
