This past Wednesday I said goodbye to my precious Shine.

He was 16 and ill for just over the past month. I only got him 10 years ago when he was dropped off at my vets to be put to sleep when his previous owner no longer wanted him. Luckily my vets are the best and kept him until he found the perfect home with us.

He was 19 pounds when I got him, but 12 was his ideal weight for most of his time with us. He loved hiding in boxes and closets, met everyone at the door, had a chair by the window to watch the birds, squirrels and rabbits. I loved him dearly, he was my special little guy.
