Revlon sale haul&rant
My PharmaPlus/Rexall was having a sale this week on "ALL Revlon Lip or Nail" for $4.99.
The next day I needed bus tokens and saw that the new Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stains were in stock. There was no sticker saying $4.99, but I had a flyer to prove the price. They rang in wrong and once I showed the flyer the clerk adjusted the price without quarrel. I didn't mention the scanning code of practice that could have gotten me one for fee (I should have but I felt bad for the kid, once he didn't charge me for tokens). I left with 4 very nice shades.
Today I went back and grabbed 4 more. I know I have issues.
Well today the (different) cashier called the makeup department to check the price. She starred at the display and told me there was no tag. I said it didn't matter, ALL REvlon lip includes these. She said nothing more, I went back to the cash. I told the cash I didn't know what was going on. She looked at the flyer and said it wasn't in the picture...I said...ALL Revlon Lip. Sigh. She called the Makeup Department yet again and they gave me them at $4.99. Again I did not mention the Scanning Code Of Practice that entitles me to one free.
Sigh, again.
I'm glad to get them at such a good price, but come on.
This is not the first time I've had this issue. Sometimes I'm told only one shade will be on sale and I'll say no, look at the flyer. It feels exhausting to get the deal none the less the proper scanning practice procedures.
the last time I got a free item because of the scanning code I had to talk to 3 people and spend 15 minutes debating the rules.
I feel that as nice as my Rexall is, I am sick of these issues. Can people not update their machines for sales? Can no one follow the rules?
Sigh, pulling teeth.
So all in all I got 9 new Revlon items, Lip Butter in Candy Apple, Just Bitten Stains in smitten, darling, adore, sweetheart, romantic, charm, lovesick and rendezous.
