Mary Kay Into The Garden Collection
With Spring comes a renewal of all things beautiful. Mary Kay has captured this feeling in their latest collection, Into The Garden. Inspired by the romance of spring they have paired with fashion designer Patricia Bonaldi and Mary Kay Global Makeup Artist Sebastian Correa for this beautiful limited edition collection.
Limited-Edition Into the Garden Pedicure Set, $35
This set immediately caught my attention, spring means we have to start getting ready for sandal season, and that means pedicures. As someone who works on their feet, I must say they rarely look good during the colder months and are way overdue for some pampering, so this set was a welcome treat to try out.
It comes in a white mesh bag (which is always great for washroom products) and contains a 3-Way Emery Board, Toe Separators, citrus tea-scented Foot Scrub and Foot Fizzies.
Mr. Fox immediately stole the Fizzies to sooth his sore work feet. When I finally got the chance to make my own foot soak it was well worth the wait. The green tea with citrus scent is quite fresh and rejuvenating, very spring indeed. I followed it up with the foot scrub which did a pretty darn good job getting my feet smooth and soft. A definite must buy for anyone who loves to treat their feet to an at home pedicure.
Into the Garden Lip & Eye Color Compact, $45
With an eyeshadow quad and a trio of lip colours, this palette is soft and feminine, just right for spring and any spring event you need to attend.

Lip colours: Nude, Pink and Coral.
Eye colours: Natural Taupe, Pink, Violet and Plum Brown.
This probably is the most stunning item in the collection, with its smooth and pigmented shadows and complementary lip colours, it really screams spring time to me.
Beauty Blotters Oil-Absorbing Tissues, $8.50
A must have in everyone's purse in the warmer spring months, Blotting Papers! Mary Kay makes absolutely fantastic blotting tissues, and the Into The Garden collection features their classic blotting Tissues with very pretty packaging just for spring.
Nail Appliqués, $10 eachNothing says pretty like nails in soft tones or with spring flowery decals.
Since nail art is way beyond my ability, I love nail decals.
Nail Lacquers, $10 each
Three shades of nail polish meant for the spring.
Nail Lacquers, $10 each
Three shades of nail polish meant for the spring.
They apply like a breeze and are fairly opaque after one coat and absolutely perfect after two. Some of the nicest cream finishes I've seen in a long time.Sweet Lilac is by far my favourite, I love its dusty purple tone, or it might just e because I adore lilacs so much.
The new limited edition nail lacquers come in three soft spring inspired shades, Coral Blossom (a bright coral pink), Sweet Lilac (a light dusty lilac) and Pink Magnolia (an ultra light pink).
Forever Diamonds
Eau de Parfum, $50; Shower Gel, $22; Body Lotion, $22;
3-peiece Forever Diamonds Set, $82 (a $12 savings)
While I am not the best with describing fragrances, I would say that is a very light and pretty scent. The fact it is an Eau de Parfum means it lasts a really long time on my skin, especially when layered with the Shower Gel and Body Lotion.
This pretty trio of individually wrapped soaps in a gorgeously decorated box might just be too adorable to actually use. I am in love with the scent, although I cannot exactly place what it is, it definitely screams spring and gardens to me. I think this might make a great mother's day gift.
TimeWise Body Smooth-Action Cellulite Gel Cream, $45
TimeWise Body Smooth-Action Cellulite Massager $12
Bundle TimeWise Body Smooth-Action Cellulite Gel Cream and Massager, $52 ($5 savings)
Mary Kay's Smooth-Action Cellulite Gel Cream has some pretty fancy science backing it and its claims up (click here to learn more). Formulated with glycolic acid, caffeine, argan oil, plus botanical and marine extracts, this cream means business.
It smooths and tightens the skin while minimizing the appearance of cellulite (hooray!). Oh yeah, it also absorbs quickly, meaning it will not feel heavy on your skin during the warmer months.
The Massager just feels great. There isn't much more to say, but it is such a nice feeling when you use it with the lotion. It's a nice little massage for your body, and we all know that massaging the skin is good for circulation and water lymphatic drainage. I have small hands, but I found this massager fit really well and was comfortable to use.
So that is Mary Kay's spring collection, Into the Garden. I really am in love with the limited edition items. If you are interested in anything you see here, you better hurry, it is Limited Edition and out now (you don't want to miss out).
