Keeping My Skin Healthy With Keri Clinical Care This Winter
The nice people over at Keri sent me package of their new Clinical Care line to try out. Keri is a brand with some personal attachment to me, not only did I grow up using their oil baths, but it was the only brand of skin care my Grandmother ever used.
Their new Clinical Care line consists of 3 new products all meant to help keep skin moisture barrier, even on the most dry skin. All products are paraben-free, dye-free and contain no added fragrances, all of which I like because when my skin is dry (and boy does it ever get dry) it gets real sensitive to things like fragrances.
Keri Advanced Hydration Hand Cream
This thick and heavy cream is meant for dry and cracked skin to help bring back its moisture barrier while soothing it. It has a pretty simple ingredient list but has a very thick texture. It probably isn't best for those with nice hydrated skin, but for those like me with dry and cracking skin it is amazing.

Keri Advanced Hydration Hand Cream
aqua, urea, c12-15 alkyl benzoate, hydroxyethyl urea, tridecyl stearate, neopentyl glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, glyceryl stearate, behenyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, palmitic acid, tridecyl trimellitate, stearic acid, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), persea gratissima (avocado) oil, cucurbita pepo (pumpkin) seed oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, lecithin, myristyl alcohol, lauryl alcohol, ethylhexylglycerin, sodium phytate, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, tocopherol
The key things to note about this hand cream is that is supposed to hydrate your hands for 24 hours with Keri's 24 Hour Moist Sure. With Urea, Glycerin, Vitamin E, Pumpkin, Avacado and Sunflower Oils it does a pretty awesome job of getting even cracked hands soft again.
The texture is smooth but not too thick, which makes it very quick absorbing without any greasy feeling being left behind. There is no visible scent to me. Now the tube makes claims about being able to last though hand washing, I don't find this to be true, but I also don't find the moisture gets zapped from my skin when I do wash them.
Keri Extreme Hydration Body Cream
aqua, petrolatum, glycerin, paraffinum liquidum, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin
The texture is so thick I tend to just glide my hand over the top rather then reach into the tub, because so little is needed. If I use a little and rub it in well my skin feels super soft and supple. After a minute or two it is well absorbed and my skin isn't greasy. I love it all over but especially my elbows. It really feels super nice on my dry skin.
Now, if I do apply it real thick, then it lingers on the skin and feels a tad bit sticky. While this might be a turn off so some, I really like it before doing Gua Sha on my body, it provides the glide I need without disappearing into my skin quickly (an issue I get with oils). I am really enjoying it on my calves and shoulders with the Gua Sha. I highly recommend you trying it out.
Keri Barrier Renewal Complex
aqua, petrolatum, glycerin, paraffinum liquidum, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, isononyl isononanoate, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexyl isononanoate, polyaminopropyl biguanide, citric acid, caprylyl glycol, chlorphenesin, milk lipids, ceramide np, phytosphingosine, disodium phosphate, lactic acid, chlorhexidine digluconate, tocopheryl acetate, bht
This has a consistancy a bit thicker then the Hand Cream but only by a bit. It is meant to help replenish the skins moisture barrier and therefor mourish deyhdrated skin. Meant for you hands, feet and body it has Crermide-3, Milk Lipids and glycerin.
I personally really like this on my feet, it feels silky and smooth going on and isn't oily at all. There are a few spots on my arms that tend to get real tender and soar this time of year as well as cuts, this really feels nice on those spots and they ten to heal a lot better when I use it regularly.
Overall I have been enjoying these new Keri products quite a bit. My skin has been dry this winter and I found it has much better this because of them. I love that there is no scent to any of the products and therefore my skin doesn't flare up on me at all. They all are not greasy and absorb quickly into my skin, which is fantastic. Pretty much they are all great products that I am loving and using daily. Zero complaints at all.
